Mexican striker Antonio De Nigris passed away yesterday morning.Actually, it’s a horrible week for football , since this week Robert Enke,De Nigris and one young player in Greece died. More and more football players die these years, unfortunately.

Hello all. Unfortunately I was a little busy lately (lots of work for school, plus some other things) so I couldn’t post. We defeated PAOK, Panionios and Sturm Graz, and now we have to play against Levadeiakos, at their pitch.

Some hours ago, Olympiakos defeated Ergotelis (2-1) at Karaiskaki, and now they are first. That means that we must win against PAOK tomorrow , so that we return to the first place.

I expected that it would be a difficult match. I was wrong. It was a very difficult match, and we were lucky that we didn’t lose.

5 October 2009, Athens. Panathinaikos beat Larissa, and remain 1st in the Greek Superleague.
18 October 2009, Kavala. Almost two weeks have passed, and the “Greens” are ready to win another one game in this season. It will not be easy however, since Kavala is a good team. [they are 6th, they have some experienced players and they play nice football).

International break is finally over. Greece have won Latvia (5-2) and Luxembourg (2-1), and ended second in their group. I have written in my previous post that I would like Latvia to defeat us, so that Otto Rehaggel gets sacked. “Unfortunately” we managed to win.
